Spaces will be limited to ensure quality and attention to all workshop projects. This is a beginner's, no sew, one-day, upholstery workshop. No experience is needed.
Workshop will include the following:
Drinks, snacks, and lunch will be provided. Basic tool use, instruction for tear down, and reupholstery. A link will be provided with my preferred basic tools before the class. You are not required to purchase these tools, although bringing your own tools will be helpful. These tools can be found at your local Home Depot or Lowes as well. Don’t forget to check YARD SALES!!!!

- Staple Remover
- Tack Remover
- Cordless Screw Gun
- Upholstery Tack Hammer (with one plastic head)
- Pneumatic Staple Gun with Half inch staples
- Small Air Compressor (2-3 Gallon)
- Hot Glue Gun (cordless is best)
You may bring your own chair, fabric, and finishes upon approval at least 1-2 weeks before the workshop. Approval is to ensure the project will be able to be completed in the time we will have allotted. Chair frames will need to be in sturdy condition to ensure no extra repair is required. Any handmade leather fringe or piping can be available upon request for an additional cost.
Upholstery fabrics are made to last and are very important for a successful project. Home décor fabrics, heavy duty fabrics, canvas, leather or cowhide are all great options. I will help you calculate all yardage, foam, batting, and decorative finishes needed before the workshop.
I can also supply all these things, including a chair, for you for an additional cost.
